Next Generation Scholars Research Fair
This second-year research fair employs an innovative research education outreach model that connects graduate students with children in the local community. Both children and adults learn about research and develop communication skills through engaging, interactive, hands-on poster presentations. In this context, Next Generation Scholars are defined as those who are involved in school-based research projects at Lafayette Tecumseh Junior High School and the Purdue University Graduate School. Following a very successful first year, we expect to expand the program to grow. Stay tuned for more information to be released in early fall, 2011.
