Innovation to Reality (I2R)
An after-school, academic year on-campus program created for all 6th-8th grade students that introduces engineering through a combination of hands-on engineering activities, faculty guest speakers, and laboratory tours. Each five-week session has a theme based on current events of global significance and Purdue faculty research and shows students how engineers make a difference in the world. Past themes include Alternative Energy, Climate Change, Diabetes, Food, and Water Scarcity.
