Boilermaker Network

The Boilermaker Network is composed of Purdue students who have volunteered to discuss their academic experiences with other students who desire information about majors at Purdue.

Accessing the Boilermaker Network
The schools/colleges below each have students whom you may contact to ask questions about their major. Select the school/college in which you are interested to see the list of students with whom you can talk. E-mail the student(s), tell them you are contacting them because they are a member of the Boilermaker Network, and arrange a time and place to meet with them or to talk with them on the phone.

Sample questions you can ask:

  • Why did you select this major?
  • What general education courses have you found helpful?
  • What are your impressions of the coursework involved in this major?
  • For what kind of career/occupation are you preparing?
