Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union

Purdue Employees Federal Credit Union (PEFCU) is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative dedicated to providing high-quality products and services, and to increasing the financial literacy of its members. Membership is available for Purdue University employees, retirees, associated staff groups, undergraduate and graduate students, and families of current PEFCU members.

  • Free fraud alerts and identity theft protection.
  • Free 24-hour account access by phone.
  • Access to surcharge-free ATMs at more than 50 convenient locations in the Lafayette-West Lafayette area and 25,000 locations nationwide.

To become a PEFCU member, simply open a primary share savings account with a minimum deposit of $5. Deposits are insured up to $350,000 per member through the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and Excess Share Insurance (ESI).
