University Operating Budget Revenues and Expenditures

The greatest percentage of budgeted operating revenues for Purdue University in 2007-2008 is from student fees, 29%. Other budgeted sources and percentages are as follows: federal appropriations, gifts, grants, contracts and other restricted income, 26%; state appropriation, 18%; auxiliary enterprises, 15%; student aid, 7%; administrative cost recovery and other income, 4%; and investments, 1%.
