Administrative and Professional
Staff Advisory Committee (APSAC)
In May of 1988, the Administrative and Professional
Staff Advisory Committee (APSAC) was formed to build
a formal communication link between administrative and
professional staff and the University's senior administration.
Staff members from Human Resource Services serve as
resource members to APSAC. A University vice president
acts as a liaison between APSAC and the University's
central administration.
APSAC serves as an advisory committee to the University
on matters relating to administrative and professional
staff employment. APSAC works through five permanent
subcommittees: staff professional development, individual
professional development grant, membership and staff
relations; communications; and compensation and benefits.
For more information about APSAC, refer to APSAC's
Web page at www.purdue.edu/apsac.
