OnePurdue Finance Tools

The tools on this page should help you make the most of OnePurdue. They are targeted toward departmental users whose needs go beyond the casual transactional processing within OnePurdue. Here you'll find reference, or "crosswalk," data to help convert legacy data to their new, OnePurdue equivalents, in addition to specialized tools and instructions to help automate many of your daily tasks.

Account Structure
Click here to find more information regarding the new chart of accounts and numbering conventions of Cost Centers, Grants, Orders and WBS elements. In general, this is what is necessary for transaction processing:

  • Balance sheet transactions require a Business Area, Fund and GL Account (100000-399999).
  • Income and expense transactions require one Real Cost Object (i.e., Cost Center, Order, WBS element), a Fund and GL Account(400000-599999).
