What does Release 2 include?
Comprised primarily of OnePurdue's human resources (HR) applications, Release 2 affects every faculty and staff member and student employee throughout the Purdue system. The framework to hire, transfer, promote, pay, process leaves for, and retire University personnel will be put into place during this release.
New employee self-service features — much more comprehensive than the ones now available — also will be introduced at this time.
Most HR applications (listed below) were implemented in summer 2007, while some remaining financial components — Travel, Effort Reporting, and Budget Preparation — will roll out in 2008.
