Advanced Credit Exams for Chemistry and Math

  1. Registration is required for August and January testing. To pre-register online (click here) for Chemistry and Math Advanced Credit Exams given by the ODOS Testing Center as listed below. Please note the registration site opens one month prior to each test date.
  2. Math exams are only offered by the ODOS Testing Center during the registration dates for August and January. The Math Department proctors Math exams through the fourth week of class during the fall and spring semesters. Please stop by the Math building, room 242 for an appointment time during weeks 1-4. All Math exams end after the fourth week of class. 
  3. Mid-semester exams (Chemistry only) are administered at the ODOS Testing Center, SCHL Hall, Room B42. Dates will be posted below approximately one month prior. Please call 765-494-1146 to schedule an appointment once dates are posted. 
  4. Meet with your academic advisor and have a Form 231 completed. Bring the form, completed and signed by your advisor, with you to the exam.
  5. Calculators/Electronics/Study Guides.
  6. You must have a photo ID and your Purdue ID number.

For August and January testing, doors open at the above listed times for the testing sessions. Testing will not begin until all students have been seated. NO ONE WILL BE ADMITTED AFTER TESTING STARTS.

Students must bring to the testing site:

  1. A Purdue photo ID with a Purdue ID number
  2. A completed Form 231 signed by an advisor
  3. A registration confirmation emailed to student at time of registration

You may take as many exams as you and your advisor agree are appropriate, but only one per testing session. There is no fee.
