Span Plan Adult Student Services
Span Plan Adult Student Services offers an array of support services for adult nontraditional students at Purdue University. The Purdue University definition of an adult nontraditional student includes any student meeting one or more of the following criteria:
- Two year break from school
- Married or in a domestic partnership
- A parent
- A veteran
- A graduate or professional student
The program, based on the belief that learning should be a lifelong endeavor, provides services that positively impact the personal, academic, and career success of adult nontraditional students. Span Plan Adult Student Services program is dedicated to working with adult nontraditional students in order to:
- Encourage exploration of individual abilities and strengths that contribute to life and career satisfaction
- Promote personal, academic, and professional development
- Connect adult students to the wealth of resources that facilitate success at Purdue University
- Support adult students as they strive to meet their educational and career goals
