The Student Activities and Organizations area of the Office of the Dean of Students hosts the Student Organization Assembly each year for both new and returning organization officers. The purpose of the event is to allow student leaders to network with each other and also with offices on campus that can be helpful to them during the course of the year. Some of the campus representatives who will attend to discuss services they offer and provide information are the Purdue Police, Space Management, the Business Office for Student Organizations, and Risk Management. The 2007 Assembly will take place on Wednesday, September 5th from 5-7:30 p.m. in the PMU North Ballroom with a brief presentation by the SAO staff and plenty of time to talk with the representatives. New policies and important information are discussed at the assembly and it is expected that all student organization presidents and/or executive members attend.
