Emily Mauzy Vogel Sophomore Leadership Development Conference (EMV)

The Emily Mauzy Vogel Sophomore Leadership Development Conference is held annually in September.  Sponsored by the Student Activities and Organizations area of the Office of the Dean of Students, the EMV Conference is made possible by a gift from Purdue alumnus Robert Mauzy. EMV is an overnight conference held at Camp Tecumseh just 30 minutes from Purdue. This conference includes topics such as diversity appreciation, networking for leadership, running effective meetings, and leadership styles.

The 18th Annual Emily Mauzy Vogel Sophomore Leadership Development Conference will be held Friday, September 12 & Saturday, September 13, 2008 at Camp Tecumseh.

Faculty, staff, student organization presidents, and past EMV attendees are invited every spring to nominate freshmen who show potential for leadership.

Deadline for nominations is Friday, May 16, 2008.
