BVN PROGRAMS

Project Move Out
This program will provide students with an opportunity to donate items they no longer want as they move out of residence halls, apartments, or houses. All donated items will go directly to help those in need in the Greater Lafayette community. Items that can be donated are clothes, shoes, personal care items, food, books, etc. Normally, Project Move Out is held in the Armory (left), but in 2005, it was held in a tent on Memorial Mall (right)

All of the stuff you see below has been donated by Purdue students and faculty. The majority of it would have simply been thrown away. Project Move-Out collects it all and donates it to the less fortunate in a "sale" . (We don't charge anything.) We're especially proud of our Wall of Clothes.

Below are some of the people we have helped by putting this on. Upwards of 200 people a year come to this event.

We couldn't do this without all the students, staff, and community donating stuff.

We also couldn't do it without the many volunteers that helped us fold clothes, unload cars and trucks, organize food, toys, books, laundry detergents, etc.
