A limited number of scholarships are available from funds donated by members of Purdue Class of 1937 in support of current students. Criteria for determining recipients of this scholarship include leadership, character, scholarship, and financial need.
To be eligible for a scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be enrolled at the West Lafayette campus of Purdue University;
- Be registered for 12 or more credit hours;
- Be classified as a sophomore, junior, or senior during the 2008-09 school year;
- Have a cumulative grade index of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale;
- Be in good academic and social standing with the University;
- Show evidence of leadership ability and potential;
- Describe financial need for the scholarship. (This does not mean an applicant must qualify for financial assistance through Purdue's Division of Financial Aid to be considered for the scholarship.)
Application
Applications must be submitted to the Office of the Dean of Students, Room 207, Schleman Hall, by Friday, February 15, 2008..
Notification of award recipients will be mailed on or before Friday, April 11, 2008.
