The Student Activities and Organizations Area of the Office of the Dean of Students is excited to present a number of awards at the awards banquet held each spring semester. Two individual awards and five organizational awards will be awarded at this year’s Student Leaders Banquet on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. A committee of students, advisors, and Office of the Dean of Students staff members will select the winners of this year’s awards.

• Excellence Award

Awards are available to student leaders, advisors, and registered student organizations. All students, student organization advisors, faculty, and staff are invited to nominate individuals and organizations that are deserving of the recognition. There are no application forms. However, when writing your nominations, make sure to include your name, organization affiliation, and the individual or organization whom you are nominating. Make sure to include all other specified information with your nomination.Please note that deadline for each award is Friday March 27, 2009.
