Purdue Honor Pledge

“As a Boilermaker pursuing academic excellence, I pledge to be honest and true in all that I do. Accountable together - We are Purdue."

The Purdue Honor Pledge is specifically focused on advancing a culture of academic integrity, seeing academic dishonesty and cheating as threats to Purdue’s reputation. As academic dishonesty rises at other universities, the Honor Pledge is a commitment to maintain a higher standard at Purdue. The Honor Pledge Task Force (HPTF) is a student organization made up of both undergraduate and graduate students who are advancing the ideals of the Pledge and the University. By promoting the information within the pledge and creating buy in from students, the HPTF collaborates with other student groups to promote a culture of academic integrity at Purdue. We are passionate about Purdue and believe in the students and faculty that make this university world renowned. Together, we can ensure Purdue’s reputation of excellence, both in and out of the classroom, is continued.
