Syllabus Statements
All instructors are encouraged to include a statement in their syllabus inviting students with disabilities to meet with them.
- The meeting should be in a confidential location and occur during the first or second week of class to discuss accommodations.
- The syllabus statement also helps normalize the accommodation process and creates a welcoming environment for Purdue University students with disabilities.
