Scheduling a Final Exam with DRC Testing

STUDENT DEADLINE FOR REQUESTING FINALS - 5 pm, Wed, April 23, 2014:

Students with disabilities who are approved for accommodated testing have been given a deadline of 5 pm, Wednesday, April 23, 2014, to request final exams ONLINE at our website: www.purdue.edu/drctesting.

*Final accommodated exams requested after this deadline may not be approved and are subject to DRC Testing's available resources.*

EXAM START TIMES:

During exam week, the DRC will have set exam start times in order to create a "distraction-reduced environment" and to utilize available space for our students.  While we will make our best effort to have the student's exam scheduled as close to the requested start time as possible, DRC Testing occasionally will take the liberty to change a requested start time.

100%-No Extended Time, 150% - Extended Time, 200% - Extended Time

LOCATION HIKS B-853, HIKS B-848 AND YONG:

Almost all of the accommodated final exams will take place in the basement of HIKS library.  Students, please check ONLINE at www.purdue.edu/drctesting the day of your exam to confirm your location.

INSTRUCTOR APPROVAL DEADLINE - 8 am, Monday 4/28/14:

Now, here is where we need the instructor's assistance.  DRC Testing does not CONFIRM and SCHEDULE an exam until it is approved by the instructor/proxy.  The sooner you, as instructor or proxy, can go online (DRC Testing website) and approve these requests the better.  We would appreciate your online approval by 8 am Monday, April 28, 2014.

Approving an exam does not have to be completed at the same time as exam delivery.  Please approve requests as your receive them.  You can send us the exam at a later date and time.

INSTRUCTOR DEADLINE for EXAM DELIVERY TO DRC TESTING - 12 pm, Friday, 5/2/14:

DRC Testing requests that final exams be received by our office no later than NOON (12pm) Friday, May 2 (email drctesting@purdue.edu or drop off in YONG 853A).

Again, we will be proctoring approximately 600 final exams from over 270 courses, we can't do this without your pre-planning and assistance.

It is imperative that we get exams from the instructor/proxy as soon as possible so we may coordinate exams and requests, and to allocate space and staffing so everyone can experience a smooth Finals week.

Our goal is to have completed exams available in these timeframes based on your requested return method:
