Community Support

If you are (or someone you are with is) in immediate danger or feel unsafe, call 9-1-1.

All students have the option of contacting outside community agencies for support. These agencies do not have the same obligations as the university report or investigate incidents.

Outside agencies do not have the authority to independently arrange on-campus remeides, including housing changes, academic accommodations, assistance with financial aid, or other academic and campus accommodations. For assistance with these type of accommoations, please contact CARE at 765-495-2273 (CARE).

MHA Crisis Center

The MHA Crisis Center has trained volunteers who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to talk with victims/survivors as well as the family and friends of victims/survivors. When you call, the Crisis Center volunteer-on-duty will gather information to assess the situation and contact the specially trained advocate on call. The advocate will then call you and make arrangements to meet at the hospital, police department, courthouse, or Crisis Center. You can also simply talk to the volunteer-on-duty.

You may contact the MHA Crisis Center anytime by calling 2-1-1 or 765.742.0244 (24/7/365).
