Fall Commissioning Ceremony

The information listed below is provided as a means of assisting family, friends and guests in planning for the commissioning ceremonies on 19 December 2011. Please see the Campus Map for locations throughout campus

Private Commissioning Ceremonies

• Location: Stewart Center, room 218 A or B
• Time: 8:15 AM until 10:00 AM in 20 minute increments
• Each student is responsible for providing his or her guests with the specific room and time slot.
• Students and guests are asked to please gather in room 206 prior to their private commissioning ceremony in order to keep the hallways clear and free of noise. This will ensure everyone has a memorable experience.
• Following their respective private commissioning ceremony, guests and the newly appointed officer will be free until the Joint Commissioning Ceremony.

Joint Commissioning Ceremony

• Location: Purdue Memorial Union, South Ballroom
• Time: 11:00 AM (guests are asked to be seated prior to 10:50 AM)
• Students were given invitations for this event. Due to the size of the room and all military services being represented, only guests invited by the students are asked to attend.

Parking

• Parking is available in the Grant Street Garage. Guests will have to take a ticket to enter the Grant Street Garage. The exit gates will be open from 1200-1300. Guests exiting outside of these times will have to pay for parking.
