Purdue Black Caucus honors students for academics, leadership
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The Purdue University Black Caucus of Faculty and Staff honored more than 170 African-American undergraduate students on April 14 at an awards program.
The 37th annual awards program presented students with awards for academic performance and leadership. Timothy Sands, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost, welcomed the students and their families and congratulated them on their success.
The keynote speaker was Camille McKinley, senior principal software engineer for WMS Gaming and a Purdue graduate. She holds several patents and has received several technology awards for her work.
