The five featured students are:
*Monica Alice Harvey of New Palestine, Ind., a junior studying economics with minors in management, international business, entrepreneurship and communication. Harvey won third place last spring in the Burton D. Morgan Elevator Pitch Competition by pitching an idea about a micro-loaning company to help women create businesses in developing nations.
*Marie Kainoa Fialkowski of Kaneohe, Hawaii, is a graduate student in health promotions and disease prevention. Fialkowski has investigated the dietary practices of Pacific Northwest native tribes in Hawaii and their exposure to a neurotoxin present in razor clams, which may affect neurologic systems.
*Corey Marsden of Manilla, Ind., a senior in organizational leadership and supervision. Marsden's entrepreneurial spirit has led him to partner in the development ELLO, a website portal for restaurants to post high-quality videos on their profiles. He also was a partner in opening the first West Lafayette Guys and Dollies branch, a summer storage service offered to students.
*Aaron Trembath of Sheridan, Wyo., a senior studying philosophy and communication. Trembath's creativity has led him to two new ventures. *Jonathon D. Ziulkowski of Portage, Ind., a graduate student in aviation technology. Ziulkowski's entrepreneurial spirit was fueled by a dream to pass along his passion of flight to future generations.
