Decorated NASA astronaut David Wolf and Indianapolis businessman/philanthropist Fred Klipsch, both Purdue alumni, will serve as members of the new Users Advisory Group for the National Space Council. Trustees approve exploration of new on-campus residence space, Brees center renovation project
Purdue's Board of Trustees on Feb. 9 approved a resolution that empowers a university team to begin exploring construction of one or more new residence halls at West Lafayette, adding approximately 1,000 beds to meet the increased student demand to live on campus. Trustees also approved a first-floor renovation project at the Brees Academic Performance Center and a maintenance agreement for the university's student information system. More ...

College of Education offers 3-year special education degree program
A new accelerated degree program in Purdue's College of Education is intended to help reverse a statewide shortage of special education teachers. The new Fast-Track degree program begins in fall semester 2018, offering students majoring in special education the opportunity to graduate with a degree in three years.
