Purdue Club of Nashville planning food drive from Boilermaker tailgaters to support Nashville food pantry

What: Purdue Club of Nashville, Tennessee, food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Pantry of Middle Tennessee.

When: 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, before Purdue takes on the University of Tennessee in the TransPerfect Music City Bowl.

Where: Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville’s historic district downtown.

Details: The food drive will take place during the Purdue for Life Foundation’s tailgate. The festive event will include Purdue’s famed mascot “Purdue Pete,” cheerleaders, a pep rally, a house band, a buffet and more. The Purdue Alumni Club of Nashville is asking Boilermaker fans to bring canned-food donations to the tailgate.
