Davis Purdue Agricultural Center to host field day

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue Extension will host Davis Purdue Agricultural Center Field Day on Aug. 30. Field days are educational opportunities offered throughout the summer by Purdue Agricultural Centers and Purdue Extension. These events provide information about crop production, farm management and land use.

The field day will touch on a wide variety of issues, including small Unmanned Aircraft Systems, herbicide and weed management, forestry management and other topics.  Attendees can also explore the Davis Purdue Agricultural Center, a 703-acre property located in Randolph and Jay counties. The center includes 522 tillable acres and 100 acres of managed forest. Speakers for the field day include:

The program runs from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and is located at Davis Purdue Agricultural Center, 6230 SR 1, Farmland, Indiana. Attendees must RSVP by Aug. 25.
