Copper Moon Coffee to open in Purdue’s Burton D. Morgan Center on Aug. 21

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Copper Moon Coffee will open a location on the Purdue University West Lafayette campus on Aug. 21 at the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship, 1201 W. State Street.

“We’re excited to be adding a new, flexible dining option to our campus,” said Rob Wynkoop, Purdue’s senior director of auxiliary services. “Copper Moon is a great local company with a nationally known brand, and we believe it’ll be a good fit for the Burton D. Morgan Center. By being located in Discovery Park, it’ll be convenient to multiple office buildings and residence halls in the southwest portion of campus.  Copper Moon will also be accepting Boiler Express, which makes it easy for students to use.”

Opening in Venture Café’s former location, Copper Moon will offer a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso-based drinks and tea. The menu also will include sandwiches and wraps, salads, baked goods and snacks.

“The opportunity to expand our presence onto Purdue’s campus is something we’ve wanted to accomplish for quite some time,” said Brad Gutwein, CEO of Copper Moon Coffee and a Purdue alumnus. “We look forward to providing our single-origin, specialty coffees to the world-class students, faculty and staff of Purdue University.”

Copper Moon Coffee at the Purdue Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
