Appointments, honors and activities

Faculty and staff honors:

- “Petersburg to Appomattox: The End of the War in Virginia,” edited by history professor Caroline E. Janney, will be published this spring by the University of North Carolina Press. The book blends military, social, cultural and political history to reassess the ways in which the Civil War ended.  

-Purdue School of Nursing’s North Central Nursing Clinics have been designated as a Health Center Quality Leader. This designation recognizes the top 30 percent of all Health Resources and Service Administration-supported health centers achieving the best overall clinical outcomes and demonstrating high-quality across clinical operations. North Central Nursing Clinics are nurse-run and in areas that might not otherwise have access to primary healthcare. Sites are located in Delphi, Monon, Burlington and Wolcott.
