Purdue and Oscar Winski will host community electronics recycling event on Saturday

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University and Oscar Winski are partnering together to hold a community-wide personal electronics recycling event on Saturday (March 10).

From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day, personally owned electronics may be dropped off at the north drive of Oscar Winski, 1449 Veterans Memorial Parkway East, Lafayette.

A list of permissible items, those that will only be accepted for a fee, and electronics that cannot be accepted at this event is listed on the Oscar Winski website at http://www.oscarwinski.com/erecycling/items-accepted.

A final electronics recycling event will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 31 at the circle drive outside Young Hall on Purdue’s campus at 155 South Grant Street in West Lafayette.

Purdue is competing in the RecycleMania Tournament against approximately 200 other higher education institutions from across the U.S. and Canada. The competition goes through the end of the month, and items collected at these recycling events will count toward Purdue’s totals.
