Broadway musical ‘Jersey Boys’ comes to Purdue on Feb. 28

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Broadway musical “Jersey Boys” will perform at Elliott Hall of Music on Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. This performance is presented by Purdue Convocations with support from Westminster Village and Dr. Nancy DiMartino and Stephen Borghi.

They invented their own sound, wrote their own songs, and sold 175 million records worldwide — all before they were 30. The Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning “Jersey Boys” tells the true story of The Four Seasons and features such unforgettable classics as “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Rag Doll,” “December 1963 (Oh, What a Night),” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”

Watch the meteoric rise of Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi — four blue-collar kids who became one of the greatest successes in pop-music history. From the creative team of two-time Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff, book writers Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, composer Bob Gaudio, lyricist Bob Crewe and choreographer Sergio Trujillo comes a showstopping production that the Chicago Tribune called “the most exciting musical Broadway has seen in years.”

Jersey Boys contains authentic “profane Jersey language.”

General public tickets will cost $26-$58. Student tickets will cost $26-$41.
