Art and design undergraduate exhibition featured in Ringel Gallery

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University Galleries’ Robert L. Ringel Gallery in Stewart Center will exhibit a juried art show highlighting works from Purdue’s undergraduate students studying art and design.

This is the first time the annual juried show will be featured in the Robert L. Ringel Gallery.  The exhibit will be open Feb. 26 through March 9. 

All undergraduate students taking classes in the Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Visual and Performing Arts were invited to submit work to this juried show, with selections made by faculty in art and design. The Patti and Rusty Rueff School of Visual and Performing Arts’ Department of Art and Design is home to degrees in industrial design, interior design, visual communications design, art education, art history, integrated studio arts, and studio arts and technology. Students were eligible to submit work in all media and the exhibition will feature drawings, paintings, prints, sculpture, jewelry, furniture, photography, video and more.

A reception and awards ceremony will be hosted in Ringel Gallery from 5:30-8:00 p.m. March 1.

The Robert L. Ringel Gallery is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays, with the exception of Thursdays, when the gallery is open until 8 p.m. All Purdue Galleries exhibits and events are free and open to the public.
