Krannert’s Dauch Center to hold 30th annual manufacturing conference

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Multiple leaders of the business world will come together to speak Sept. 29 at the 30th annual fall conference of the Dauch Center for the Management of Manufacturing Enterprises. The conference, titled “The Future of Manufacturing,” will be held at the Purdue Memorial Union and is free and open to the public. Registration is required. 

Speakers include:

* Cory Murphy, business lead, Google for Indiana.

* John Annakin, chief revenue officer, Clear Object.

* Ben Wrightsman, chief operating officer, Battery Innovation Center.

* Tong Jin Kim, associate professor of visual and performing arts, Purdue University.

*  David Nedohin, president, Scope AR.

* Scott Hartford, project manager, Indiana Technology and Manufacturing Companies.

* Ben Larson, plant manager, Evonik Corporation.

* Doug Mansfield, chief executive officer, Kirby Risk.

* Michael Fornasiero, program manager of workforce development and social media marketing engagement, UI Labs.

The Dauch Center for the Management of Manufacturing Enterprises (DCMME) has been a focal point within the Krannert School of Management throughout many years for promoting education, research and industrial engagement, manufacturing management and supply chain management. The center is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

“DCMME is excited to celebrate our 30 years of focused research amd education in manufacturing and welcome participation by industry, students and faculty,” said Ananth Iyer, DCMME director and department head of management at Krannert. “Our conference looks to the emerging future, which portends a greater deployment of technology and data to enhance manufacturing competitiveness. These issues will be the topic of the conference.” 

The conference will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the North Ballroom in the Purdue Memorial Union. Registration information and schedule details are available on the center website
