Mobile pay available for metered parking locations on the West Lafayette campus
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — A mobile application can now be used to pay for parking at all metered locations on the West Lafayette campus. Purdue partnered with a third-party vendor, Passport, to provide this service using the PassportParking app.
Customers can pay for or extend their parking session directly from their phone, simplifying the process and reducing the need to visit a meter to pay or add time, though that option still remains.
“This new system is easy to use,” said Holly Buskirk, Purdue Parking Facilities manager. “Students and visitors just need to download the PassportParking app to get started, create an account, select the desired parking duration, enter parking zone and space number from the decal on the meter and add payment information.”
The PassportParking app is free to download from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. Users can also manage their parking at ppprk.com.
