‘Mamma Mia’ farewell tour plans a stop at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — The “Mamma Mia” farewell tour is back one last time to relive ABBA's hits in this feel-good show featuring “Dancing Queen,” “Take a Chance on Me,” and more in this musical extravaganza on February 24 at 8 p.m. in Elliott Hall of Music. This performance is presented by Purdue Convocations with support from Lafayette Bank & Trust and Purdue Dining and Catering.

“Mamma Mia” is the ultimate feel-good show that has audiences coming back again and again to relive the thrill. On this 10th anniversary tour, it’s your turn to have the time of your life at this smash-hit musical that combines ABBA’S greatest hits, including “Dancing Queen,” “S.O.S.,” “Super Trouper,” “Take a Chance on Me,” and “The Winner Takes it All,” with an enchanting tale of love, laughter, and friendship. Whether it’s your first or fourteenth visit, see the show that has the whole world coming back for more, because every time feels like the first time at “Mamma Mia.”

First coming to Purdue in the fall of 2012, “Mamma Mia!” made audiences fall in love with the ABBA classics. The show is still garnering praise from Entertainment Weekly, “Perhaps the single most ecstatic musical to open on Broadway since ‘A Chorus Line.’ ‘Mamma Mia!’ leaves you uplifted, enraptured and feeling like a number one!” and the Associate Press, “‘Mamma Mia!’ is a mega-hit that has audiences dancing in the aisles.” This Broadway experience is sure to amaze when it returns to campus.
