SW Purdue Ag Center hosts High Tunnel Tour

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Southwest Purdue Agricultural Center will host a tour focusing on raising tomatoes in high tunnels.

The tour is 7-8:30 p.m. Aug. 22. The center is located at 4369 N. Purdue Road in Vincennes.

Topics include:

  • High tunnel tomato diseases and management.
  • End-of-season field sanitation.
  • Potential use of grafting in high-tunnel tomato production.
  • Use of shade cloth.
  • Sprayer calibration.
