Literary Reading Series is Nov. 5 with author Charles Baxter

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Author Charles Baxter will be a Literary Reading Series featured reader at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 in Krannert Auditorium, Room 140 at Purdue University. Baxter also will conduct a Q&A session at 4:30 p.m. that day in Grissom Hall, Room 103.

Both events, sponsored by the Department of English and the Creative Writing Program, are free and open to the public.

Baxter is the author of 15 books of fiction, creative nonfiction and essays, including "There's Something I Want You To Do," "Sal and Patsy" and "First Light." His novel, "The Feast of Love," was a finalist for the National Book Award and later adapted for film. Baxter has received many honors and awards including the Guggenheim Fellowship, Michigan Author of the Year Award and the American Academy of Arts and Letters' Award in Literature.
