• Notables:

- Purdue alumna Amanda Elmore, and three other members of the U.S. Rowing Club, won a gold medal Sept. 5 in the women's quadruple sculls event at the World Rowing Championships in Lac Aiguebelette, France. The victory qualifies the boat for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Elmore is a 2013 graduate of Purdue and rowed for Purdue Crew
