WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Executive Committee of the Purdue University Board of Trustees will conduct a public hearing Wednesday (May 27) in which the committee will act on behalf of the board and vote on the proposed tuition and tee recommendations, including the tuition freeze for the West Lafayette campus.

The proposal calls for frozen tuition and flat costs for meal plans and student housing programs for all students at the West Lafayette campus through 2016-2017, plus a 1.65 percent tuition and fee increase at most of Purdue's three regional campuses for each of the next two years. The Executive Committee will act on behalf of the board and will vote on the fee proposal and the fiscal year 2016 system-wide conceptual operating budget during the meeting.

The public hearing will begin at 4 p.m. in Stewart Center, Room 326. The public will have a chance to comment during the meeting, and a videoconference connection also will allow public input from Purdue's regional campuses.
