Purdue police lieutenant to be honored with Lifesaving Award

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University Police Lt. Leslie Wiete will receive a Lifesaving Award Thursday (April 2) during a 2:30 p.m. pinning ceremony in the TERY Conference Room at the police department.

The honor is in recognition of her lifesaving efforts on Feb. 24, when she responded to a call at the Agricultural Administration Building and performed CPR on an unresponsive heart attack victim.
