Purdue College of Pharmacy honors four as distinguished alumni

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Four Purdue University alumni will receive the College of Pharmacy's 2015 distinguished alumni award.
The college awarded the distinction to Susan K. Brown, Charles L. Goodall, Barbara E. Hayes and Dale E. Wurster. They will receive the awards during a program on Friday (April 10) in the Spurgeon Suite in Mackey Arena.
* Brown, of Boulder, Colorado, is retired as administrative director of pharmacy for Franciscan St. Francis Health. She earned her bachelor's degree in pharmacy and master's degree in clinical pharmacy from Purdue in 1972 and 1974, respectively.
* Goodall, of Chicago, is senior vice-president for pharmacy and member services technology at the Catamaran Corp. He earned his bachelor's degree in pharmacy with honors from Purdue in 1984.
* Hayes, of Houston, is professor emeritus of Texas Southern University. She earned her master’s degree in pharmacology from Purdue in 1977.
* Wurster, of Iowa City, Iowa, is senior associate dean for academic affairs at the University of Iowa Graduate College. He earned his doctorate in industrial and physical pharmacy from Purdue in 1979.
