Purdue Musical Organizations presents Phenomena

March 19, 2015

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue Musical Organizations will perform Phenomena, a free student-produced rock show that serves as a local fundraiser, at 7:30 p.m. Friday (March 27) in Elliott Hall of Music.

Every March, PMO students produce Phenomena to benefit a local Lafayette philanthropy. This year's philanthropy is Bauer Family Resources, a youth development center that allows area children to learn, grow and flourish. Students have raised funds throughout the second semester and have donated time and talents to the center as well. The Bauer Community Center is located at 330 Fountain St., Lafayette.

Phenomena combines all of the talents of the students at PMO including band, vocals and choreography. There are 17 different numbers in Phenomena, including “Any Way You Want It” by Journey, “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift, “Sharp Dressed Man,” by ZZ Top and “Fix You” by Coldplay, to name a few.

Phenomena is free and open to the community. There will be collection bins for donations of personal care items, educational needs and for games/puzzles for Bauer Family Resources. Monetary donations will also be accepted.
