President Mitch Daniels' statement on the death of the Rev. Theodore Hesburgh

"What can anyone add to the decades of tributes that Father Hesburgh earned and so richly deserved? When inaugurating Indiana's Sachem Award to recognize lives of excellence and moral virtue, Father Hesburgh, along with Coach John Wooden, struck me as an obvious and iconic choice. We truly will not see his like in our lifetimes."
