Fiction reading with author Adam McOmber will be Tuesday (March 24)

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Author Adam McOmber will be the featured reader for the Literary Reading Series at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday (March 24) in Krannert Auditorium, Room 140, at Purdue University.

The event, sponsored by the Department of English and the Creative Writing Program, is free and open to the public.

McOmber is the author of "The White Forest" and "This New & Poisonous Air." His work has appeared in Conjunctions, StoryQuarterly, The Fairy Tale Review, Third Coast, Quarterly West, The Greensboro Review and Arts and Letters. He has received an AWP Intro Award and was nominated for two 2012 Pushcart Awards.

He lives in Chicago and teaches at Columbia College, where he also is the managing editor of the literary magazine Hotel Amerika.
