Farmers Market Boot Camp set in Indianapolis

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University and the Indiana Farm Bureau are offering a free "boot camp" in Indianapolis to help operators of farmers markets manage their business more effectively and better understand safety and health regulations.

The Farmers Market Boot Camp will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 10 at the Indiana Farm Bureau Assembly Hall A and B, 2225 S. East St.

Topics include use of social media for the farmers market, health regulations and marketing rules and regulations.

Lunch will be provided, but participants must register for the event by contacting Lori Jolly Brown at 765-494-1296 or by email at ljollybr@purdue.edu.
