Purdue Galleries presents 2nd annual 'Wintry Mix' lunchtime entertainment at downtown Fountain Gallery

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Weekdays from December 8-19, Purdue University Galleries welcomes the community to “Wintry Mix,” a two-week series of free lunchtime concerts by local performers, to be held in the Fountain Gallery at 330 Main Street in downtown Lafayette.
“Wintry Mix” is a special offering between semesters and a unique holiday break for the local community. Each day at noon, a different performance will be featured in the gallery among the artwork on display. Visitors are invited to bring a lunch. Light refreshments will be provided.
Donations will be accepted for the performers and their local charities of choice.

* Monday, Dec. 8 - Harry Bulow Saxophone Quartet (minus 3)
* Tuesday, Dec. 9 - Danny Weiss & Jeff Wimble, tenor saxophone and guitar
* Wed. Dec. 10 - Set in Motion, video art & experimental film
* Thursday, Dec. 11 - Miscellanea Musica Recorder Ensemble
* Friday Dec. 12 - Traveler’s Dream, Songs of the Winter Season, performance and group singing
* Monday, Dec. 15 - Kitty Campbell & Jamie Newman
* Tuesday, Dec. 16 - Paul Foster, singer/songwriter
* Wednesday, Dec. 17 - Danny Weiss & Jeff Wimble, tenor saxophone and guitar
* Thursday, Dec. 18 - Sabrina Lastman
* Friday, Dec. 19 - James Moon & Friends
The EMT Food Truck will be parked on Main Street near the Fountain Gallery, at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 10, 11, 16 and 19. Contributions will be accepted for the Food Truck's "Hug & Hunger Relief" campaign to benefit the YWCA domestic violence shelter. Those bringing a new stuffed animal and/or canned/non-perishable food items to the food truck will receive a reusable EMT Food Truck grocery bag.
