INDIANAPOLIS and COLUMBUS, Ohio - Student enrollment and retention officials at institutions of higher education could benefit from a partnership that incorporates predictive analytics into a platform that includes student coaching methods and software.

Target Enrollment Group LLC, based at the Purdue Research Park of Indianapolis, will provide analytic services for Columbus, Ohio-based Aviso Coaching LLC.

Bryan Bell, founder and managing director at Target Enrollment Group, said the company will provide predictive modeling for predicting student success integrated within the Aviso System. The company will also provide support for other analytics projects including reporting services and custom predictive modeling implementations.

"The opportunity to implement our models into the Aviso offering is exciting. It provides institutions with a more seamless approach to incorporating modeling results into their retention processes," he said. "It's important that our clients need only to focus on the enrollment insight being provided as a result of our services."

Alexander Leader, co-founder and CTO of Aviso Coaching, said the partnership with Target Enrollment Group establishes a line of reporting and analytics consulting services to address the need to better understand student attrition in higher education.

"Aviso's primary users are college and university staff and students. We integrate data from various systems to find student challenges, including lack of attendance, grade point average trends and lack of registration," he said. "With the addition of these new capabilities, the Aviso Software Platform will be able to anticipate student behaviors, leading to earlier intervention by coaches, advisers and other support staff."

Aviso Coaching's clients include Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri; Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin; Marion Technical College in Marion, Ohio; and Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, North Carolina.

Cam Cruickshank, co-founder and COO of Aviso Coaching, explained why the company chose to partner with Target Enrollment Group.

"Bryan Bell and his team really know how to help institutions better understand student enrollment behavior and the underlying causes of student attrition. I have the utmost respect for Bryan's ability to find actionable strategies within large data sets and to help institutions provide meaningful interventions that lead to higher levels of student success," he said. "Aviso Coaching's and Target Enrollment Group's unique combination of software, retention consulting services and analytic services will be a compelling combination in the student success marketplace."

Bell said the partnership with Aviso Coaching is an opportunity for Target Enrollment Group to improve on the delivery of its retention analytics.

"Target Enrollment Group has and will continue to be focused on creating custom predictive models at a high level within higher education," he said. "Aviso Coaching provides a tremendous opportunity to be more effective with our models by providing an interface to deliver the results to the key decision makers in an easy-to-interpret, actionable manner."
