Purdue buses transporting students to funeral service for slain classmate

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University on Tuesday (Jan. 28) will be providing charter buses for students who want to attend funeral services in West Bend, Wis., for Andrew F. Boldt, who died in a shooting that took place on campus Jan. 21.

From 11:30 a.m. to noon, media will be able to talk with Jim Hintz, interim dean of students, as well as a student making the trip. Media interested in conducting interviews should go into the Mackey Arena Southwest Entrance, which is located across from Cary Quadrangle at the corner of Wooden and Tower drives.

Media parking will be available in the lot across from Mackey Arena located along Wooden Drive.

Buses will begin loading around noon in an area between Cary Quadrangle and Ross-Ade Stadium and will depart at 12:30 p.m. Media will be able to take photos and video of students boarding the buses.
