December 3, 2013

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - High school students and their families can learn about college financial aid during either of two upcoming presentations by Purdue University's Division of Financial Aid and the Ivy Tech Community College Lafayette financial aid office.

The presentations will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 10 and Jan. 22 at Ivy Tech Community College, Ivy Hall Auditorium, 3101 S. Creasy Lane, Lafayette. The Indiana Student Financial Aid Association is sponsoring the presentations. Each program will begin with a short overview of financial aid basics, and then attendees will hear detailed information about filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Families also may attend College Goal Sunday on Feb. 23 at Ivy Tech Community College. Starting at 2 p.m., financial aid counselors will be available to help students complete their FAFSA and to answer any additional financial aid questions they might have. See http://www.collegegoalsunday.org/ for more information and a list of all participating locations.
