Daniels to attend public events in Mishawaka, Merrillville

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Purdue University President Mitch Daniels will attend events open to the public on Oct. 16 in Mishawaka and Merrillville.
During the gatherings, Daniels will talk about Purdue Moves, the 10 initiatives aimed at enhancing the university's strengths and preparing it for the future.
The Purdue Alumni Club of St. Joe Valley will host a breakfast at the Riverside Terrace in Mishawaka. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. EDT, and the program will begin at 8:15 a.m.
The Purdue Alumni Club of Northwest Indiana will host a reception at the Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza in Merrillville. Doors will open at 6 p.m. CDT, and the program will begin at 6:45 p.m. Heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served.
Each event costs $10 per person, and space is limited. Reservations are suggested by Oct. 11 to ensure availability.
