President Emerita Córdova to be featured in PBS documentary

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - France A. Córdova, former Purdue University president, will be part of the PBS documentary "Makers: Women Who Make America," which will air 8-11 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 26).

The documentary series "tells the remarkable story of the most sweeping social revolution in American history, as women have asserted their rights to a full and fair share of political power, economic opportunity and personal autonomy," according to the PBS website. Córdova, who stepped down as Purdue's president in July 2012, will appear in a series of interviews, photographs and stories during the broadcast. For channel information, check local listings.
