WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The LIFE IN COLOR (formerly DAYGLOW) tour featuring Krewella, David Solano and Milk N Cookies will perform at the Purdue band practice field on Third Street across from Shreve Hall at 7 p.m. on April 18.

This performance is presented by the Purdue Student Concert Committee.

Convocations assistant director and Student Concert Committee adviser Laura Clavio is pleased with the new site for the Life in Color show. "The site is more optimal as a space for the concert - especially for dancing because the location is completely flat," she said. "Special thanks to our friends at Purdue Bands and Orchestras for allowing us to use the site."

LIFE IN COLOR, "The World's Largest Paint Party," began in 2006 on college campuses in Florida. Since then, it has quickly taken the nation by storm by positioning itself as a one-of-a-kind experience. Now, hundreds of thousands of people have witnessed this spectacular show that fuses high-energy music, art, dance, and paint into one mind-blowing combination. Founded by Committee Entertainment, LIFE IN COLOR is an innovative show that you must experience to comprehend. Every show brings a massive festival-like quality and state of the art production and technology. So whether it's your first time or you are longtime veteran, there is always something new to see and experience.

Krewella is an Electronic dance music group from Chicago formed in 2007. The group consists of Jahan Yousaf, Yasmine Yousaf and Rain Man. Their EP, "Play Hard," was released in 2012. Krewella first caught national attention with its video for "Killin' It" in early 2012. Several teaser videos launched on Krewella's YouTube channel around the "Play Hard" release in June 2012 including a video for "Alive". In August 2012, Krewella premiered its new video for "Feel Me" on Vibe.com.

Student Concert Committee has 16 student members who have been selected through an application and interview process to advise Purdue Convocations about popular entertainment selections for Purdue students on the West Lafayette campus. Student members experience the equivalent of an internship in the entertainment industry. In addition to weekly meetings, SCC members work on sale days for SCC shows, are highly involved in publicity and promotional duties for their events, and work backstage day-of-show. Each year, the committee selects eight new members to replace outgoing members who have completed a two-year term. After a one-year general membership, the students are expected to take a leadership and mentoring role on the committee.
